A very high-strength, medium-to-high viscosity anaerobic retaining compound used for bonding cylindrical mechanical components.
• Provides excellent vibration resistance
• Locks bearings securely and prevents any movement
• Used for bonding and securing shafts, gears, pulleys, and other cylindrical metal components

Features

  • Can be used on all types of rigid surfaces.
  • Strengthens metallic assemblies.
  • Locks shaft projections and keys; compensates for wear in loose or worn fittings.

Application

  1. Before assembly, thoroughly clean male and female parts with an absorbent cloth to remove cutting oils.
  2. Apply the adhesive to the surfaces.
  3. Wipe off any excess product with an absorbent cloth.
  4. Assemble the parts and allow to cure for 24 hours at 22–24°C to achieve full strength.
  5. For disassembly, use hand tools to separate the bonded parts.
  6. If room-temperature disassembly is not possible, apply localized heating up to 250°C and disassemble while hot. Then mechanically remove any cured adhesive residue and clean the parts with a suitable solvent (e.g., acetone).
