Arthur L. Parker founded the Parker Appliance Company on 13 March 1917 in a small loft in Cleveland, Ohio, together with his business partner Carl Klamm. In its early days the company produced pneumatic brake systems for trucks, trains, buses and industrial machinery, and sealed fittings for aviation pioneers. Through surprising setbacks and impressive successes, Parker solutions have enabled countless technological leaps over the past century.
